Running a business involves more than keeping busy. It means asking useful questions, making choices with limited information and taking time to review what happens next. QUELIS gives those moments a place in your routine.

Turn broad concerns into something specific you can explore.

02Practical reflection

Use short writing prompts to clarify your thinking and plan a next step.

03Room to adapt

Review what you learn and reconsider your approach as circumstances change.

The Entrepreneurial Mindset

Give your idea a question to answer

An idea becomes easier to work with when you turn it into a specific question. Instead of asking whether your business will succeed, ask what you need to learn next. Perhaps you need to understand a customer’s problem or test whether your explanation is clear. Write down your assumption, the evidence you would look for and one small action that could help you learn more.

Clear Business Decisions

Write the decision before the options

Before listing possible answers, write the decision in one sentence. Include what you are choosing, why it matters and when you need to decide. Then identify the criteria that matter most in this situation. A clear question helps prevent an attractive option from changing the problem you set out to solve. Keep your original wording beside your notes as you compare the trade-offs.

Focus for Business Builders

Define what finished looks like

Before beginning a work session, describe a result you could reasonably finish in the time available. Replace a broad task such as ‘work on the website’ with something concrete, such as ‘draft the opening section of one product page’. Keep related ideas in a separate note. At the end, record what you completed and choose the next useful action rather than leaving the task vague.

Resilience for the Long Game

Separate what happened from what it means

After a disappointing result, write two short lists. In the first, record what you can directly observe. In the second, record the conclusions you are drawing. A quiet launch, for example, tells you that few people bought during that period; it does not explain every reason why. Choose one question worth investigating before deciding whether to repeat, change or stop the approach.

What does QUELIS sell?

QUELIS sells individual digital guides about entrepreneurial thinking, business decisions, focus and responding to setbacks.

Are these printed books?

No. These are digital guides; a printed book is not included.

Can I buy one guide on its own?

Yes. Each guide is sold individually for £14.99.

Which guide should I choose first?

Choose The Entrepreneurial Mindset for approaching new ideas, Clear Business Decisions for comparing options, Focus for Business Builders for organising important work, or Resilience for the Long Game for reviewing setbacks and deciding what comes next.

No. The guides are written for aspiring entrepreneurs as well as people already running a small business. You can apply the prompts to an idea, a current project or an everyday business question.

Are these guides about financial planning or accounting?

No. Each guide has a distinct focus and can be read independently.

Can I read a sample before buying?

Yes. Each product includes a chapter list and an interior passage so you can explore its approach before choosing.
